Toby Collyer started the game alongside Bruno Fernandes and Eriksen in the midfield and he was impressive. The 21-year-old has come off the bench in three consecutive games but was rewarded with a start on Thursday.
He played 73 minutes and got a standing ovation from the Old Trafford crowd as he came off for Manuel Ugarte.
According to OptaJoe, Toby Collyer is now the first Manchester United midfielder since 2003-04 to complete 50+ passes on his first appearance at Old Trafford in European competition, whilst also having an accuracy of at least 94% (48/51 – 94.1 %).
