Manchester United loanee Antony Dos Santos scored his first goal for Real Betis in the 3-2 defeat against Celta Vigo on Saturday.
Manchester United’s plans under the Ruben Amorim era is to make a massive clear-out to rebuild the squad for the coach and make reinforcements that would fit into his 3-4-3 system.
The club are listening to offers for important players at the club and the likes of Antony Dos Santos and Marcus Rashford fall into that category.
Reports also stated that the club are willing to sell Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho as the fee for an academy player is seen as pure profit in the books. The club needs to make sales and free up big wages to bring in new players for Amorim.
Antony Dos Santos is one of the players who secured a temporary move away from the club in the winter transfer window. The loan move to Real Betis might be one of the best decisions in his career so far.
Antony shines again for Real Betis
Antony was in action once again for Real Betis against Celta Vigo and he opened the scoring with a lovely finish in the 10th minute of the game.
The Brazilian winger was voted the Man of the Match for the second game in a row. His first game for Real Betis came against Athletic Club and he was impressive.
Antony barely played under new Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim and the club decided to send him out on loan. His future at the club was in doubt after Erik ten Hag got sacked.
The player is currently doing well in a system he understands and with zero pressure from the fans, unlike Manchester United. Antony is playing his real football with confidence and Real Betis may decide to make his loan a permanent deal at the end of the season.
