Real Betis CEO reveals plans for Manchester United loanee Antony Dos Santos after a dream start to life in Spain.
Manchester United decided to free up some wages in the squad as they plan to make some reinforcements in the Winter transfer window.
Antony Dos Santos is one of the players struggling at the club and barely plays under new manager Ruben Amorim. The club was willing to sell him on a permanent deal, but no suitable offer for the Brazilian.
Antony Dos Santos wanted to continue in Europe and agreed to move to Real Betis when the La Liga outfit showed an interest in doing a loan deal for the remainder of the season.
Will Antony stay at Real Betis next season?
There is a possibility that Antony Dos Santos will stay at Real Betis next season, according to the club’s CEO.
“The other day the general director of Manchester United called me, we sent them all the details of the player (Antony) so that they see that we are taking care of him. There is a very good understanding with United and with the player, Real Betis CEO Ramón Alarcón said.
“That he continues next season with us is a possibility”, he added.

The 24-year-old winger has started well in La Liga and the belief is that Antony would be open to a permanent move in the summer.
If he continues with his good performances until the summer, top clubs from Europe could approach the player over a possible deal.
Antony Dos Santos has won two Man of the Match awards in his first two games for Real Betis, scoring his first League goal in the defeat against Celta Vigo.
His move to Real Betis is a straight loan without an option to make the deal permanent. Manchester United will re-access his future in the summer and decide on what to do with the Brazil international.
