According to GiveMeSport, Manchester United could attempt to hijack James Trafford from Newcastle after the goalkeeper’s performances that have resulted in him being pinpointed as a potential replacement for Andre Onana as first-choice goalkeeper.
The report states that Manchester United may attempt to sweeten the deal by making it clear to the 22-year-old that he would have the opportunity to replace Andre Onana and become Ruben Amorim’s first choice.
Andre Onana’s errors at Manchester United continued after the arrival of Ruben Amorim and it has become a concern at the club.
Manchester United will be looking to go into the goalkeeper market in the summer as the club wouldn’t want to risk next season relying on Andre Onana.
Altay Bayindir has been out injured in the past few games and he is likely to miss the FA Cup game against Fulham on Sunday.
