Barcelona are monitoring Napoli and Chelsea target Alejandro Garnacho ahead of the summer transfer window and the player could be open to a move.
Since INEOS bought a 25% stake from the Glazers family, Manchester United’s approach has changed and one of the club’s aims is to correct past mistakes in recruitment and wage bills.
The club decided to put most of their first-team players up for sale, including Kobbie Mainoo, Alejandro Garnacho, and Marcus Rashford who came through the academy.
Following Marcus Rashford, Antony, and Tyrell Malacia’s loan move in the winter, the club are expected to continue their clear-out in the summer with Alejandro Garnacho already generating interest from top clubs in Europe.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano recently revealed that Christain Eriksen is expected to depart the club as a free agent in the summer while Jonny Evans who has only a few months left on his contract could leave as well.

Brazilan midfielder Casemiro could leave the club in the summer as they look to reduce wage bills and raise funds to bring in new players that suit the manager’s system. He barely played under Ruben Amorim and he is not in his long-term plans.
Barcelona are monitoring Garnacho
According to a new report from Spain, Barcelona are monitoring the situation of Alejandro Garnacho at Manchester United ahead of the summer as they consider him an interesting addition to Hansi Flick’s team.
Alejandro Garnacho has had some problems with Ruben Amorim since the Portuguese manager took over in November. Garnacho was left out of the squad for the Manchester derby alongside Marcus Rashford due to the level of their training.
However, the player reacted immediately and showed commitment in training and the manager decided to include him in the next games. Ruben Amorim said during a pre-match press conference that he wants to keep Garnacho.

Ruben Amorim said that he loves Alejandro Garnacho’s attitude in training and it’s how he expects a player to react. Garnacho was heavily linked with a move away in January with Chelsea and Napoli showing strong interest in the player.
Serie A side Napoli had two bids rejected by Manchester United. The club valued Garnacho at 75 million pounds ($94 million), according to multiple reports.
Manchester United could drop their valuation of the player in the summer and they want to generate funds to rebuild the squad.
Reports have stated that Chelsea and Napoli are expected to be back in the race for Alejandro Garnacho in the summer after failing to complete a deal in the winter.
Although, they are expected to battle it out with other top clubs with Barcelona now in the race for the player. Alejandro Garnacho could be open to a move back to Spain.
