A new report from Argentina has revealed Manchester United’s serious interest in River Plate’s Franco Mastantuono, and the English giants are willing to trigger his 45 million release clause in the summer.

According to TyC Sports, Manchester United have made it clear that they are willing to pay Franco Mastantuono’s €45m release clause, but they would like to do so in instalments.
However, the player is yet to give the club the green light as he has made it clear that he is waiting for Real Madrid first. This is a message he has sent to all the European clubs interested in him.

Franco Mastantuono is a 2007-born talent who plays as a midfielder for River Plate, and he is regarded as the best player in his position in the Argentine Primera División. A lot of top clubs from Europe are fighting for his signature.
The 17-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid, and it’s his dream to play for the La Liga giants. However, it seems like the Spanish club will be looking to strengthen other positions in the team.
Multiple reports have stated that Real Madrid are no longer in the race for him, but the player is still waiting for them before deciding on his future.
Franco Mastantuono has a release clause of 45 million euros that can be triggered in the summer, but it will change two days after the transfer window closes.
