Manchester United legend Patrice Evra has sent a clear message to Manchester City winger Rayan Cherki after his comments following his move to England in the summer.
Michael Carrick’s Reds hosted Manchester City at Old Trafford on Saturday, in something that was Carrick’s first game in charge as United’s caretaker manager following his return to the club.
Rayan Cherki, who was part of the Olympique Lyonnais team that suffered a stunning defeat at Old Trafford in the UEFA Europa League last season, was also involved in another defeat against his biggest rivals.
The French international joined Manchester City in the summer for a fee worth over 36 million euros, after being linked with a move to Manchester United, who decided to move for Premier League-proven Bryan Mbeumo.
Following his move to Manchester City, Rayan Cherki was asked about Manchester United and the defeat he suffered against them in the UEFA Europa League last season. He said now that he had moved to Man City, he would destroy Manchester United if he met them.

“I didn’t like Manchester United’s victory against Lyon because I’m from Lyon. Now I’m looking forward to the derby, I want to kill them. I just wanted to go to Manchester City.” Rayan Cherki said.
Manchester United fans never forgot his comments and have been waiting for this game to see what Rayan Cherki would do, but the French International lost the first battle against the famous Reds.
