A new report has claimed that Cristiano Ronaldo has advised Manchester United target with a £50 million release clause to move to Old Trafford this summer.
Manchester United are looking to improve the squad in the upcoming summer transfer window, and the winger position is being considered.
Marcus Rashford and Antony departed the club on loan during the Winter transfer window, and the Red Devils failed to sign a replacement. Instead, they signed two defenders. Ruben Amorim, the manager, was left with just three attacking options after Amad Diallo’s injury.

Ronaldo advised Trincao to join United
According to transfer reporter Graeme Bailey, Manchester United legend Cristiano Ronaldo has told his national teammate Francisco Trincao to move to Old Trafford in the summer transfer window.
Francisco Trincao worked under current Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim when he was the head coach of Sporting CP and Braga. The 25-year-old thrived under Ruben Amorim after a struggling season at Barcelona before joining Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The Portuguese winger has Premier League experience and can play as a wing-back or in the number 10 role in Ruben Amorim’s system. Top European clubs are interested in signing him, but the player has been told that Manchester United is the right club for him.
According to Mirror Sport, Francisco Trincao has a release clause worth over 50 million pounds, and the Red Devils could decide to activate that option in the summer or negotiate a new transfer fee.
Manchester United’s first-choice target for the right wing-back position was Geovany Quenda, but he has decided to sign for rivals Chelsea.
