Chido Obi-Martin makes his Manchester United debut in the Premier League game against Tottenham on Sunday night.
Ruben Amorim and his team traveled to the Tottenham Hotspur stadium on Sunday as they resumed Premier League action.
The game, in which some academy players made the senior team bench for the first time, ended in a 1-0 defeat after James Maddison scored the only goal to secure the three points for the host.
Manchester United was without 12 first-team players as they suffered a very big blow in training last week, with Amad Diallo, Kobbie Mainoo, and Manuel Ugarte missing out through injury.
Leny Yoro and Christain Eriksen were ruled out of the game due to illness and could be back in the next game, but Lisandro Martinez and Amad Diallo are ruled out of the season.
It was a proud moment for Chido Obi and his family as the 17-year-old talented striker debuted for Manchester United against Tottenham on Sunday.

Ruben Amorim handled Chido Obi his professional debut as he came on in the 90+1 minute for Brazilian midfielder Casemiro.

Manchester United’s fans are understandably unhappy with Ruben Amorim for not making a sub until the 90th minute of the game and for giving Chido Obi only two minutes.
However, the 17-year-old took to his Instagram account to thank Ruben Amorim and the club for allowing him to play for the club as his dream came to pass.
Joshua Zirkzee sent him a message under his Instagram post, “More to come, lil bro”
Ruben Amorim says he was trying to be careful with the kids when asked about the unused substitute. The Portuguese manager believes that the Premier League is the hardest competition in the world and no need to rush the players.
“It is the hardest competition in the world. I am trying to be careful with them. I felt the team was pushing for the goal and I felt I didn’t want to change. But they will play.” Ruben Amorim said after the game.
