Manchester United decided to approach Lecce for the signing of talented left-back Patrick Dorgu as the Danish is Ruben Amorim’s first-choice target for the position.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United, and Lecce reached an agreement for the signing of Patrick Dorgu for a fee worth 30 million euros plus 5 million add-ons which is not guaranteed.
Manchester United also reached an agreement with Arsenal over the signing of talented centre-back Ayden Heaven for an undisclosed fee.
Both Patrick Dorgu and Ayden Heaven are expected to undergo their Manchester United medicals at Carrington on Thursday and Friday, but some changes have been made.
Patrick Dorgu and Ayden Heaven’s medical date
According to Fabrizio Romano, Patrick Dorgu’s medical has been rescheduled to the weekend due to paperwork delay. The player was expected to fly to Manchester on Thursday to undergo his medical, but it will be done over the weekend.
Ayden Heaven could also undergo his medical on Friday or Saturday. Reports have stated that the medical could have been delayed due to the first-team physio being away with the squad to Romania for the Europa League game against FCSB.
18-year-old Ayden Heaven who is set to complete his move from Arsenal to Manchester United is considered a first-team player by the club and he will provide cover for Lisandro Martinez.
