Manchester United are currently in the bottom half of the Premier League table there’s growing pressure on the squad.
Ruben Amorim is the 10th person to hold the managerial reign since Sir Alex Ferguson retired in 2013. Top managers have come and failed to succeed at Old Trafford including the “special one” Jose Mourinho.
The belief now is that most of the first-team players are not ready to fight for the club and the mentality shown on the pitch is below good enough.
The 3-1 defeat at Old Trafford against Brighton mounts more pressure on the squad with Ruben Amorim claiming that he thinks that “the current team is worst Manchester United side ever”
Paul Scholes names eight players he’d sell from the squad

Paul Scholes has named 8 players he’d cash in on from the Manchester United squad, but a lot of the fans didn’t agree with the legend.
In defense, Paul Scholes said that he would cash in on Duch centre-back De Ligt and Lisandro Martinez.
De Ligt was signed from Bayern Munich in the summer under Erik ten Hag, but Scholes was not fully convinced by his signing and has claimed that the defender is not even an upgrade on Harry Maguire.
Luke Shaw who has been unavailable and struggling with injuries is one of the players on Scholes’ list. Mason Mount, Casemiro, Antony, and Marcus Rashford were also included.
Joshua Zirkzee’s name is also on the list, but a lot of fans didn’t agree with him. Paul Scholes said he’d keep Andre Onana, Kobbie Mainoo, and Alejandro Garnacho who is heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford.
Although, Manchester United has decided to listen to offers for the majority of the first-team players this winter or in the summer transfer market. The club’s goal is to get players who fit into the manager’s style of play.
The current players who are untouchable in the Manchester United squad are Leny Yoro and Amad Diallo who recently signed a new deal at the club until 2030.
