A new report from a reliable transfer journalist has explained the likelihood of Victor Osimhen and Rasmus Hojlund’s potential swap deal in the summer transfer window.

Victor Osimhen and Rasmus Hojlund swap deal
According to TalkSport, Napoli are interested in signing Rasmus Hojlund from Manchester United in the summer after he failed to find form this season.
The Danish striker scored five goals in five games at the start of Ruben Amorim’s era at Old Trafford, but he has yet to score a goal in his last 16 games and Manchester United may look to sell him and invest in another striker.
Rasmus Hojlund joined Manchester United in the summer of 2023 under Erik ten Hag and the report has stated that the player is still highly regarded in Italy after his stint at Atalanta BC.
However, the report states that Napoli would only be willing to pay a fraction of the £72m that Manchester United bought Rasmus Hojlund.
Manchester United has a strong interest in Napoli striker Victor Osimhen who is currently on loan at Galatasaray, but sources say a potential swap deal for Højlund is ‘complicated’ per talkSPORT.
Osimhen wants to join United
Victor Osimhen has been impressive since joining Galatasaray on loan with the Super Eagle striker scoring 19 goals for the Turkish club so far this season.
According to Turkish transfer reporter Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, Victor Osimhen wants to join Manchester United.
The 26-year-old has been linked with a move to the Premier League over the past few windows. He came close to joining Chelsea in the summer of 2024, but couldn’t agree on personal terms.
However, it’s still unknown whether Manchester United will meet Victor Osimhen’s wage demands in the summer and will be willing to pay his release clause.
