According to reports from Dutch journalist Joost Blaauwhof, Tyrell Malacia’s future has now been decided after a conversation with Manchester United.
Manchester United are open to letting several players leave the club this winter and in the summer as part of Ruben Amorim’s rebuild.
Amad Diallo and Leny Yoro are the only untouchable players at the club with Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo generating interest from Napoli and Chelsea.
After a struggling end to 2024, Ruben Amorim’s Manchester United has started 2025 well, with a 2-2 draw against Liverpool at Anfield, defeating Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal on penalties in the FA Cup and also securing a 3-1 victory at Old Trafford against Southampton. Thanks to Amad Diallo’s hat-trick.
During his press conference, Ruben Amorim revealed that he wanted to keep his players, and focused on their progress, but he didn’t rule out any move.
Tyrell Malacia to leave Manchester United this winter

According to Voetbal International, Manchester United informed Tyrell Malacia that he could leave the club this month. The Dutch left-back will be loaned out until the end of the season.
After being out injured for more than a year, Tyrell Malacia barely played under Ruben Amorim with Diogo Dalot seen as the first choice in the left wing position.
It was reported that on Friday evening, the club informed the player of the decision to let him leave on an initial loan deal for the remainder of the season. His representatives are now aware of Manchester United’s decision.
Tyrell Malacia’s next club has not been revealed yet, but there were rumors from Italy linking him with a move to Serie A outfit Como.
A loan move away from the club is Malacia’s best option at the moment. He will get more first-team minutes and work to get back to the same level he was when Manchester United signed him.
Tyrell Malacia was Manchester United’s first signing under Erik ten Hag and he did well for the club during his first season but was unlucky with injuries.
He will be hoping to find his form back if he manages to secure a loan move away from the club this month. Other players at Manchester United are also in his situation and will be looking to leave, the likes of Antony and Marcus Rashford are expected to leave.
