Manchester United are close to completing the signing of Patrick Dorgu from Lecce after a breakthrough talks between both clubs.

Manchester United decided to make the wing-back position a priority during the winter transfer window. Ruben Amorim will be getting his first-choice target as the club are close to securing Patrick Dorgu’s signing.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Patrick Dorgu to Manchester United is a done deal after an agreement was reached with Lecce for a fee of 30 million euros plus add-ons that are not guaranteed.
The 20-year-old left-back is set to fly to Manchester with his representatives to complete his move to Manchester United. Fabrizio also claimed that a medical examination had been scheduled for Thursday.
What shirt number will Dorgu wear at Manchester United?
Patrick Dorgu currently wears the ON. 13 shirt at Lecce and the same shirt number is available at Manchester United. There’s a chance he will pick the shirt number as he has worn it also for FC Nordsjaelland’s Reserve team.
Another shirt number available at the club is Raphael Varane’s 19, Wan-Bissaka’s 29, and Antony’s 21.
The ON. 27 shirt previously worn by Wout Weghorst and left-back Alex Telles is also available, but as stated, Patrick Dorgu is likely to go for his favorite shirt number 13.
