Manchester United have had some serious injury cases over the past few days with the manager set to coup without Amad Diallo and Lisandro Martinez until next season. The Argentina international sustained a serious injury in the 0-2 defeat against Crystal Palace while Amad got injured during training.
Ruben Amorim lacks attacking options in the team with Amad Diallo ruled out of the season and Antony and Marcus Rashford sent on loan without replacements. The club brought in two defenders in the winter, Dorgu and Ayden Heaven who is set to provide cover for the injured Martinez.
When will Ayden Heaven make his Manchester United debut?
Ayden Heaven could be in line for his Manchester United debut against Ipswich Town on Wednesday after a new report stated that Noussair Mazraoui picked up an injury to his knee during Saturday’s 2-2 draw at the Goodison Park stadium.
The report from ESPN also stated that further tests will take place on Monday to see whether the Moroccan defender will be available for Ipswich.
Ruben Amorim will be left with a few defensive options if Mazraoui can’t play vs Ipswich and 18-year-old Ayden Heaven who joined from Arsenal last month may be called upon.
Ayden Heaven was signed to provide cover or competition for Lisandro Martinez, but he has yet to play since the Argentina international sustained an injury. He only featured for the Manchester United under-21 once.
