One of the smartest deals Manchester United did during the summer was to sign Danish talented striker Chido Obi-Martin from Arsenal.

Manchester United sealed the signing of Chido Obi from Arsenal in the summer and he recently signed his first professional contract at the club after he turned 17 years old.

According to multiple reports, Chido Obi-Martin is seen as Manchester United’s third-choice striker, although he has not been involved in any matchday squad with the first team.

The 17-year-old scores his first of the game in the 25th minute with a lovely finish. Seven minutes later he made it 4-0 and got a brace for the under-18s. Watch the goal.

Chido Obi-Martin is shining in the most important competition at the youth level. It’s likely for Chido Obi to make his first-team debut for Manchester United this season or get involved in a matchday squad for experience.

16-year-old defender Godwill Kukonki has been around the first team since the arrival of Ruben Amorim, but he is yet to make his debut. However, it seems very likely this season.

With Manchester United struggling in front of goal in recent games, Chido Obi-Martin is someone to keep an eye on. He has now scored 9 goals for the academy since joining from Arsenal.

Gabriele Biancheri has undergone a surgery

Another talented striker who has been on fire for both the Manchester United under-18s and under-21s is Gabriele Biancheri. The Welsh talent has scored 20 goals total this season.

Sadly, he will be out for one month after a successful surgery a few days ago. It’s also an opportunity for Chido Obi-Martin to be involved more with the Under-21s.
