Official: Manchester United confirms two more academy loan exits

Two Manchester United academy stars have completed a loan move away from the club and more players are expected to leave the club this month.

Manchester United are making moves in the winter transfer market, with the club making the loan of several players a priority this month.

Ethan Ennis who has been in impressive form for the under-21 has completed a loan move to Doncaster Rovers making his debut against Hull City in the FA Cup.

Ethan Williams has completed a loan move to England League Two side Cheltenham Town and the 19-year-old winger has already trained with the club.

Cheltenham Town manager Michael Flynn revealed that many clubs wanted to sign the 19-year-old on loan, but the League Two side won. Cheltenham are currently in 13th position in the league and the manager is excited about the addition of Ethan Williams.

Joe Hugill has left Wigan Athletic after spending half of the season on loan at the club. Hugill was impressive during his loan spell at Wigan, scoring 5 goals in 18 appearances.

The 21-year-old has joined Carlisle United on loan until the end of the season. Manchester United decided to take him to a team that plays to his strength.

Carlisle United are currently struggling in League Two, with Williamson winning just 4 from his 21 games in charge. Joe Hugill will be a key addition for him.

Dan Gore and Ethan Wheatley could leave on loan

According to Steven Railston, Manchester United are considering sending Ethan Wheatley and Dan Gore out on loan. Both players have also been impressive for the under-21 and already debuted under Erik ten Hag.

They have been involved in first-team training under new manager Ruben Amorim and also in the Matchday squad.

Manchester United are still finding the best possible club for both players and Championship clubs have shown interest in recent weeks.
