Manchester United have reportedly agreed personal terms with Geovany Quenda to bring the Portuguese talent to Old Trafford in the summer.
One of Manchester United’s aims in the summer transfer window is to sign another wing-back for Ruben Amorim. The wing-back position is important in the manager’s style of play.
Diogo Dalot is yet to find his best form under Ruben Amorim and the Portuguese right-back is still adapting to the new system while Noussair Mazraoui is being played mostly as a right centre-back.
Manchester United wants to bring in a new wing-back in the summer and Sporting CP’s Geovany Quenda looks to be the top target for that position as he has worked together with Ruben Amorim before and understood the job.
Manchester United agreed personal terms with Quenda

According to a report from Jacobs Ben, Manchester United are progressing in talks with Sporting CP to try to reach a pre-agreement to sign Geovany Quenda ahead of the summer.
The reports stated that Manchester United have verbally reached an agreement with the player on personal terms.
The Red Devils feel the player is worth around £33 million while Sporting wants closer to £50 million for the winger. Quenda is certainly keen on moving to Old Trafford.
Ruben Amorim gave Geovany Quenda his professional debut during his time at Sporting CP and the 17-year-old would love to reunite with the coach at Manchester United in the summer.
Patrick Dorgu joined Manchester United in the winter transfer window and Diego Leon will be joining in the summer. The manager will have enough wing-back options available for him next season with Quenda likely to join as well.
Manchester United also have other targets on their list and reports have linked the Red Devils with Barcelona left-back Alejandro Balde.
