Manchester United has announced formally three transfers in the January transfer window, and other deals are expected to be confirmed before the winter window closes.
There have been meetings in the past few days between the Manchester United board and Michael Carrick to explore transfer-market possibilities, and they have agreed to focus on outgoings despite a recent need for a midfielder under Ruben Amorim.
Manchester United defender Patrick Dorgu, who has been the club’s best player in their last six matches, suffered a hamstring injury during the 3-2 victory over Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium, where the Danish talent scored.
Michael Carrick and the club have decided not to find a replacement for Patrick Dorgu during the last days of the January transfer window, despite rumors that the left-back will be out for about ten weeks. However, the club are hoping to have him back before then.

Manchester United announced three transfers
JOE HUGILL: After multiple loans in English League One and Two, Manchester United has announced that Joe Hugill has joined Scottish side Kilmarnock on a permanent deal. The talented striker spent six years at Manchester United and also won the FA Youth Cup trophy with the academy.

RHYS BENNETT: Manchester United also confirmed that defender Rhys Bennett has joined Fleetwood Town on a permanent transfer, subject to registration. He has got loads of first-team experience as he has trained with the senior team multiple times and also did pre-season under Erik ten Hag.
TOBY COLLYER: Manchester United midfielder Toby Collyer will spend the remainder of the season on loan at Hull City after he returned to the club from his loan spell at West Brom due to an injury.
The talented midfielder who was around the first team under Erik ten Hag and Ruben Amorim is regarded highly around the club, and it will be perfect for him to gain some first-team minutes in the Championship.
Toby Collyer said after his move to Hull City, “The style of play the manager likes to bring to his players is really good for me, high energy, high output.
“I would say I’m an intelligent player and I always like to improve. Hard work is fundamental; otherwise, you won’t get to where you want to go.
“My target was to get back out and play as many minutes as possible in a different environment and challenge myself.
“I’m looking forward to the atmosphere, seeing the fans, and playing with my new teammates. I’ll always work hard for the badge and for the fans.”
Every player’s goal is to play and succeed at Manchester United, and Toby Collyer will be hoping to smash it at Hull City and get his chance again around the Manchester United senior team next season. The midfielder will likely come back to a new manager in charge.
