Manchester United predicted XI

Manchester United will begin their defense of the FA Cup with a trip to the Emirates Stadium to face Arsenal on Sunday afternoon. Ruben Amorim is expected to make some changes to his starting line-up tomorrow.

Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United defeated Man City in the FA Cup final in May 2024, with United academy graduates, Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo scoring the goals for the Red Devils to secure the victory at Wembley.

Ruben Amorim will now lead Manchester United out tomorrow for the third round of the FA Cup, replacing Erik ten Hag, who won the trophy for the Red Devils 8 months ago.

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal defeated Manchester United 2-0 on their last visit to the Emirates Stadium in December 2024, with the two goals coming from the corner. Man United has improved their performances since they last faced the Gunners and we are expecting a different game on Sunday afternoon.

Manchester United predicted XI vs Arsenal.

Ruben Amorim revealed during his press conference on Friday afternoon that Altay Bayındır will be starting in goal ahead of Andre Onana. The Turkish goalkeeper, who has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford has been given yet another opportunity to prove himself against a good Arsenal side.

Leny Yoro, who started from the bench in the last game against Liverpool, could return to the starting line-up on Sunday, replacing Lisandro Martinez. Ruben Amorim could be looking to start his tallest defenders due to Arsenal’s threat from the set-piece. Harry Maguire, De Ligt, and Leny Yoro could be in line to start for Manchester United tomorrow.

Kobbie Mainoo and Manuel Ugarte could keep their places in the starting line-up after an amazing performance against Liverpool. In attack: Amad, Bruno, and Hojlund could start for the Red Devils.

United predicted XI vs Arsenal:

Bayındır, De Ligt, Yoro, Maguire, Dalot, Mazraoui, Ugarte, Mainoo, Bruno, Amad, Hojlund.

Mason Mount and Manuel Ugarte return to team training ahead of Real Sociedad clash

Ruben Amorim has received a huge boost ahead of the Europa League game against Real Sociedad as Mason Mount and Manuel Ugarte make a return from injury.

Manchester United will resume Europa League action on Thursday as they take on La Liga outfit Real Sociedad in the second leg of the round of 16 tie.

Ruben Amorim’s team drew 1-1 when they traveled to Spain on the 6th March, but Manchester United was close to a victory after Joshua Zirkzee’s goal. Real Sociedad found a way to equalize after VAR awarded a penalty for Bruno Fernandes’s handball.

There was an improvement in terms of performance in the last two games. Their last Premier League game against Arsenal also saw the team come close to a victory.

Ruben Amorim has been coping without some of his first-team players over the past weeks with Amad Diallo and Lisandro Martinez likely ruled out of the season.

However, the Portuguese manager has received a bit of good news ahead of the Europa League game against Real Sociedad at Old Trafford.

Mount and Manuel Ugarte back to training

Manuel Ugarte has been out since the FA Cup match against Fulham which saw Manchester United knocked out of the competition. The midfielder played only 53 minutes after he suffered a knock.

The club has confirmed that the Uruguay midfielder has returned to team training at Carrington on Wednesday morning ahead of the game against Real Sociedad.

Will Mason Mount play against Real Sociedad?

Mason Mount is unlikely to be available for Manchester United’s game against Real Sociedad as it’s too soon for him, but he is back to team training and close to playing again.

Ruben Amorim is desperate to get and keep Mason Mount fit as he views him as an ideal fit for one of the No. 10 roles in his system, according to James Ducker.

There’s a possibility that Manuel Ugarte will be ready to face Real Sociedad, but Mason Mount is not ready yet. The likes of Harry Maguire, Leny Yoro, and Kobbie Mainoo were not spotted in training.

Manchester United injury news: Ruben Amorim talks Mason Mount and Luke Shaw ahead of Ipswich clash

Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim has given an update on Mason Mount and Luke Shaw ahead of the Ipswich game on Wednesday night.

Manchester United will host Ipswich at Old Trafford on Wednesday night, looking for a win to build momentum. Ruben Amorim and his men are yet to win a Premier League game this month.

Manchester United lost to Crystal Palace at home, lost to Tottenham, and drew 2-2 at the Goodison Park stadium against Everton. The club is in 15th place in the Premier League table and will be aiming for a win against an Ipswich side battling relegation.

Manchester United’s defence and attack are a serious concern for Ruben Amorim, with Lisandro Martinez and Amad Diallo ruled out of the season due to injury.

Noussair Mazraoui had an injury problem during the game against Everton last week and he was reportedly set to undergo a test on Monday to confirm his availability for the game against Ipswich Town.

Manchester United’s injury update

During Ruben Amorim’s pre-match conference for the Ipswich game, the manager revealed that he is not expecting any change and that he thinks the squad will be the same as the Everton game.

However, there is still a question mark on Noussair Mazraoui whether he will be available for Ipswich Town. Fans will likely confirm his availability when the squad arrives at Old Trafford for the game.

Ruben Amorim also revealed that Kobbie Mainoo, Jonny Evans, and Toby Collyer are still recovering while Amad and Lisandro Martinez are out until next season.

Mason Mount and Luke Shaw are still recovering, but the manager has claimed that he doesn’t know the return date for both players. However, Mount is closer to a return than Luke Shaw.

Altay Bayindir and Tom Heaton have missed out on Manchester United’s last two games due to injury and both players are still out.
