Mike Maignan is one of the best goalkeepers in the world in the last few years and the French goalkeeper was heavily linked with a move to Chelsea in the 2025 summer transfer window.
The London club failed to reach an agreement with AC Milan despite agreeing peronal terms with the goalkeeper who was keen on the move. Manchester United could make a move to sign him as a free agent in the summer.
Andre Onana left the club this summer on loan without any option to make the deal permanent in the summer, but according to Fabrizio Romano, his Manchester United career may be over.
Andre Onana may have to look for a new club next season even if he returns back to Manchester United after his loan at Trabzonspor.
Mike Maignan is only 30 years old which is still a very good age for a goalkeeper and he may be open to joining Manchester United as a free agent in the summer.
