Revealed: When will Amad Diallo and Lisandro Martinez return from injury?

Amad Diallo and Lisandro Martinez have suffered a serious injury that could keep them out for some time, but the return date has been announced.

Manchester United will face Tottenham on Sunday night. Both clubs are in 14th and 15th place in the Premier League table, respectively.

Ruben Amorim would like to build momentum after the Red Devils’ FA Cup victory over Leicester City. Joshua Zirkzee and Harry Maguire scored the two goals for the Red Devils, who advanced to the next round.

Manchester United have now won 6 out of their last 8 matches under Ruben Amorim. The two defeats for the Red Devils came against Brighton and Crystal Palace at Old Trafford in the Premier League.

Lisandro Martinez suffered an ACL injury in Manchester United’s defeat at Old Trafford against Crystal Palace. The Argentine defender was subbed off for De Ligt in the 82 minutes of the game as he was taken off in tears.

The 27-year-old centre-back underwent surgery on Thursday and his season looks over. He has been impressive under Ruben Amorim, scoring against Liverpool and the winning goal against Fulham.

Amad Diallo is another player who is set to be out for a long time after suffering an injury in training. Amad is arguably the best Manchester United player so far this season and it seems like his season is over as well.

Ruben Amorim would have to find a replacement from the academy with some youngsters already called up for the Tottenham game, including Chido Obi and Sekou Kone.

Manchester United made only two signings in the January transfer window with Patrick Dorgu joining from Serie A club Lecce and Ayden Heaven from Arsenal.

When will Amad and Lisandro Martinez return from injury?

According to multiple reports, Amad Diallo will be out for at least three months. His season is almost over and the focus now is on getting to his best shape for next season. Lisandro Martinez has successfully undergone surgery and he could be out for 6 to 12 months.

Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Manchester United’s plan for Amad Diallo is for him to undergo surgery next week after he suffered an ankle injury in training.

Who is Cristian Orozco? Manchester United may have found their own Moise Caicedo

Published

on

Manchester United has completed the signing of 17-year-old Colombian gem Cristian Orozco from Fortaleza CEIF, and he will join the club next summer.

Manchester United struck an agreement with Fortaleza, his current club, for a transfer worth approximately $1million (£741,000). Cristian Orozco is the latest addition to the youth team, just as the club did with the likes of Diego Leon and Sekou Kone.

The 17-year-old will formally relocate to England in the summer, and his signing is part of the club’s ongoing efforts to attract some of the most talented young players in the world.

Cristian Orozco: Who is he?

Currently playing for the Colombian team Fortaleza, Orozco is a talented midfield player. He only moved from Rojo FC to his current team in the summer.

He plays as a midfielder with a somewhat greater defensive focus. With nine caps for the Colombia under-19 national team, Orozco has already made a name for himself on the international level.

Cristian Orozco is currently representing Colombia at the Under-17 World Cup, and he is seen as their best player in the last two games played so far.

Colombian newspaper El Espectador praises Orozco after his performance in the first game: “He leads not only with the ball but also with his attitude. The rhythm of the game flows through him.

“He’s the first to press the opponent and understands the game, knowing when to play short and when to play long. He has ‘excellent ball control’, helps the team build from the back, and is adept at recovering it as well”.

Who is Cristian Orozco’s idol?

Crystal Palace’s midfielder Jefferson Lerma is Cristian Orozco’s idol, according to Colombian newspaper El Espectador.

Will Kobbie Mainoo leave Man United? Club makes decision amid Real Madrid and Chelsea interest

Manchester United’s stance on Kobbie Mainoo has been made clear amid interest from Real Madrid and other top European clubs.

Kobbie Mainoo is unhappy and frustrated with his playing time at the club. The 20-year-old’s playing time has been reduced since Ruben Amorim’s arrival in November, and it clearly seems that the manager doesn’t rate him.

Manchester United have played two matches so far this season, and Kobbie Mainoo has been given zero minutes in those games. Mainoo’s body language at Fulham says it all about his frustration. The player is now exploring his options in the final days of the window.

Kobbie Mainoo is open to a move away from Manchester United this summer, but a departure may not be easy since there are only four days left before the window shuts. However, Manchester United has made its stance clear.

Will Kobbie Mainoo leave Man United?

Kobbie Mainoo leaving Manchester United is a possibility for the future, but as of this window, it seems unlikely, as the club is not actively looking to sell the player, according to reports from The Times Sports.

Manchester United’s current stance on the player is that they are not actively looking to sell the player in the final days of the window and will not push him out the door.

Are Real Madrid interested in Kobbie Mainoo?

Yes, Real Madrid are among the top clubs monitoring the situation of Kobbie Mainoo at Manchester United, according to MailSports. Up to 10 clubs are interested in the talented midfielder.

The FIFA World Cup is around the corner, and Kobbie Mainoo will need game time to show that he deserves to be in the England squad. England manager Thomas Tuchel was present at Old during the first game of the season against Arsenal, where Mason Mount shone, but no sign of Mainoo.

Chelsea and more Premier League clubs are also interested and are closely monitoring the situation. Kobbie Mainoo is yet to inform the club about his desire to leave, but he will be open to leaving.

Will Diego Leon leave Manchester United on loan?

There have been some talks regarding the future of Diego Leon at Manchester United as the Paraguayan talented left-back is preparing for a new life in Manchester.

In December 2024, Manchester United reached an agreement with Cerro Porteno for an Initial fee of $4 million plus $1 million easy add-ons and over $3.5 million based on players’ or team future performances.

After the agreement in December last year, the plan was for Diego Leon to arrive at the club in July ahead of pre-season for the new season under Ruben Amorim, and as expected, Leon traveled to England on the 1st of July to complete his move.

Diego Leon has already passed his Manchester United medical last year, meeting the likes of Alejandro Garnacho and Lisandro Martinez at Carrington at that time.

Recent reports have claimed that Diego Leon is expected to be loaned out by Manchester United this summer, while other news outlets claimed that he will start with the academy like Sekou Kone.

Will Diego Leon leave Manchester United on loan?

At the moment, Manchester United has not made any decision regarding the future of Diego Leon. Ruben Amorim and his staff will asses the 18-year-old left-back before making any decision.

The expectation is that Diego Leon will be given a chance during the friendly games in pre-season. He could end up staying around the first team next season and provide competition for Patrick Dorgu.

“Everyone thinks I’ll go out on loan, but I don’t have that mentality. I’m going to tear it up in pre-season, and in one or two games, I’ll be playing with them”, Diego Leon told Cuevasmat at the airport as he boarded his flight to Manchester.

“I have a lot of confidence in myself. I’m going to be at the top with them. Now, with the faith intact that I can succeed. I’m very happy, every player dreams of this.” Diego Leon said about joining Manchester United.

Revealed: Andre Onana will only leave Manchester United for one reason after interest from AS Monaco

A new report has revealed the only reason why Andre Onana will agree to leave Manchester United this summer after recent interest from Ligue 1 giants AS Monaco.

AS Monaco are the latest club to show an interest in signing Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana after interest from the Saudi Arabian Pro League and other clubs.

However, Andre Onana is keen to stay at Manchester United and fight for his place, plus prove himself. Reports have claimed that the goalkeeper is part of the club’s project.

Manchester United’s aim this summer is to strengthen every area of the squad, and the goalkeeper position is not ruled out if Andre Onana leaves.

Andre Onana will only leave Man United for one reason

AS Monaco has shown interest in Andre Onana and asked to be kept informed about his situation, but the goalkeeper is determined to stay at Manchester United unless he is told he is surplus to requirements by head coach Ruben Amorim, according to ESPN.

As things stand, Andre Onana is expected to return to Carrington with the Manchester United squad next month and start preparation for the new season. He remains part of the project.

However, Fabrizio Romano has reported that Andre Onana’s situation could change later in the summer if both he and the club receive a good proposal. Manchester United would be open to selling him.

“We are going to make that evaluation for any position in the squad,” Amorim said. “We need to improve. We cannot change all the players. We need to improve every position on the field. Goalkeeper is the same; we can work with André. André Onana already proved he is a top player with Inter. We have some seasons where we are [all] underperforming.”

Altay Bayindir is expected to leave Manchester United this summer as he wants to be the number one ahead of the World Cup 2026.
